Camilla Winter holds a Master’s degree in German literature and linguistics from the University of Hamburg in Germany, as well as academic courses in ICT from the University of Borås in Sweden.
She has worked primarily as an international coordinator in the field of education In the field of education, in recent years with a focus on VET and HVET at the municipal and sub-regional levels since Sweden became a member of the EU. Camilla has collaborated with the Swedish National Agency for Erasmus+ for many years and the way back to the time of the SOCRATES programme.
She has served as a regional contact point, an EPALE ambassador, and was a member of the national ECVET team, which has since been replaced by the National VET Team for Erasmus+, where she remains active today. Furthermore, she is an external evaluator for the Swedish National Agency. She currently evaluates applications under the Erasmus+ programme and in the field of AE and VET, a role she began during the previous programme period when it was known as the Lifelong Learning Programme.
In 2022, Camilla Winter founded her own educational consultancy and is an associated member of the European Association of Regional and Local Authorities for Lifelong Learning (EARLALL). Within EARLALL, she shares leadership of the working group Lifelong Guidance & Ageing Societies and coordinates the EARLALL Academy—an initiative launched in connection with the European Year of Skills, aimed at building capacity among member organisations.
