Founded in 1975, Ipsos is the third largest market and public opinion research company in the world – and currently the only large global research company primarily managed by researchers and focused on research. Ipsos is structured around a number of services covering a range of sectors and solutions, of which Public Affairs (PA) is the largest. PA is responsible for providing social and public opinion research, communication, advisory and evaluation services to clients in the public sector and beyond, including inter-governmental organisations and agencies, non-governmental organisations, national governments and leading academic institutions. The PA team is staffed by social researchers with advanced degrees in fields such as psychology, economics, sociology, political science, public policy analysis and statistics. It includes experts and advisors in specific policy areas, as well as recognised leaders in research methodology spanning survey modes, sampling, questionnaire design and consideration of how to reach vulnerable populations and survey on sensitive topics. It has expertise in both traditional research methodologies – quantitative (face-to-face, online, postal and telephone) and qualitative – and newer and emerging techniques, such as social media intelligence, text analytics and AI.

This specific project will be managed by the Ipsos European Public Affairs (EPA) team, which specialises in pan-European and international survey research conducted to the highest standards of methodological rigour – including survey and questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, data processing, data analysis, reporting and the formulation of policy recommendations. This team is located in Belgium.
