The Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) has been a pillar of higher education in Greece since its establishment in July 1973. Moreover, the Department serves as a trusted advisor for public investments and a prominent observer of the economy for the government. DUTH has also contributed significantly to European-funded projects, further strengthening its empirical finance and economics expertise.
